Vers Uit means 'fresh from' and at the time it was a new initiative for fresh products from local farms. The client wanted a general logo that could be extended with the name of any village, town or city that the fresh products are from. So the logo could be used for general marketing and branding, but also for the specific town where the concept is picked up on. This way customers would always recognize the brand since basically there is only 1 logo being used.
I have chosen for a green color for obvious reasons; fresh, sustainable, minimizing food waste, etc. The circular shape stands for going back to the base, providing for our food from the land, the circle of life. It is completely in a vintage kind of look because of the farms and because of this style it gave me the opportunity to work with a ribbon to extend the logo with the names of the places where the fresh products come from.
